I built one for roughly $45.00 durable as heck. If you spend a more on stain and maybe cabinet doors it can look real nice. When you include the weight of the tank, gravel and water, a 55 gal tank is probably over 600 lb. With that in mind, Ikea gives weight ratings on a lot of their stuff.
